OK, so I'm guessing the Livejournal situation is NOT going to be resolved tonight. Or soon. Pessimistic update from LJ is pessimistic.
But I'm so bloody tired of complaining about the situation so I'm just going to BREATHE and, like, find other ways to express myself. This might be a good time for me to get used to of Tumblr and finally put something in Wordpress and Dreamwidth. So it's not a total loss.
Anyway! It's time to talk about my favorite fandom subject in the whole world: Harry Potter!
It's finally opening here tomorrow, on Friday, 29 July 2011. I wasn't going to watch it tomorrow because I already have a ticket for the Great Final Last Viewing/Gathering of Part 2 with the Indo Harry Potter community for Sunday, 31 July. But when I was buying a ticket for my friend, at_midnight, I ended up buying for myself too by accident (long story but the short of it is that the ticket salesgirl is an idiot). So I'll be watching it at 12.15 PM tomorrow - I realize this is in the middle of a working day but I'm going to be using my lunch break so there should be no problem - and I very well will wear my Harry Potter UNIQLO t-shirt.
Here are the UNIQLO Harry Potter t-shirts that I got from Singapore: Model 1 | Model 2 | Model 3
Not sure which one I'll end up really wearing, but I'm leaning towards the one with the movie's full title on the front.
Tonight I declined an invitation to the press screening of HPDH Part 2. *shrugs* I don't know. I don't really feel excited about watching the movie over and over again... probably because it's the last and I just want to savor this one. Plus, it gets really tiring to continue shedding tears for Severus. So, yeah, I'm just going to stick to tomorrow's screening and Sunday's.
Next week, though, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon will also arrive. This is by no means an end to the Indonesian Movie Crisis. So far only these 2 summer blockbusters are confirmed to play here in the country, while other movies like Captain America and Cowboys and Aliens are still hanging somewhere in local distribution hell. (And I really don't think past summer movies like X-Men: First Class and Thor will make it either. *sigh*) It's better than nothing but the situation is still not ideal at all. I'm only glad that the final HP movie is showing because the fans need it.

For those of you who are wondering who the hell just friended you here, this is the Dreamwidth of tomatoe18. (If you still don't know who I am, then move along - I probably added you by mistake.)
Since I can't post ANYTHING on Livejournal - not entries, not comments, not support requests for LJ support - I've been blogging over at my wordpress, which is of course not nearly as fun as blogging on LJ. I'm so damned frustrated about the whole situation, especially because I'd been away for 4 days before everything went bonkers over there so I've been largely disconnected from my fandoms and communities and all the online people I care about.
I... that's all I have to say.
